Hello Reader,

This week we are introducing another new class, this one for teens & adults. Discover the art of Visual Storytelling in our new Mixed Media Art Journaling Open Studio! Drop in anytime between 5 PM and 8 PM to experiment with a variety of materials, explore weekly creative prompts, and connect with fellow artists in a relaxed, inspiring space. Bring your own journal or grab one from our studio and let your imagination flow!

This is also the first week for our Creative Social, a new FREE class just for adults! Starting Tuesday, February 4, choose from two convenient time slots: 10 AM–1 PM or 4 PM–7 PM. Bring in that unfinished project you’ve been meaning to tackle, or select from a variety of creative projects available in our studio. It’s the perfect opportunity to unwind, spark your creativity, and connect with a welcoming community of fellow creatives.

You won't want to miss our Summer Camp Open House this SATURDAY, February 8th, from 8 AM to 12 PM, where you can discover all the exciting summer camp options we’ve lined up for 2025.

Register early for our President’s Day Week Art Club Extravaganza! Join us for three fun-filled days of creative crafting during the school break—attend all three days or choose the one that works best for you. There’s something to spark everyone’s imagination at Joyful Art Center!

FEBRUARY SESSIONS

​

February Sessions start up this week! There are still a few openings in some of the classes! Secure your spot today!

Class Descriptions:

  • ART LAB • Mixed Media Art History: Embark on a colorful journey through time with our Art Lab tailored for young creators aged 4 and above. This school year, our theme is "Art Through The Ages," offering a dynamic 75-minute session that explores the rich history of art. Each class features diverse mixed media projects, from watercolor and acrylic to oil and soft pastels, collage, and more. Four age group classes offered: Ages 4-6, 7-8, 9-10, & 11+
  • 3-D ART LAB: In 3-D Art Lab we will also be putting a 3-D spin on the "Art Through The Ages" theme. Each class features diverse mixed media projects, from sculpting and building with clay to creating mixed media collages, all in 3D form. Available for K-6th.
  • DIGITAL ART LAB: Welcome to the Digital Art Lab, where creativity meets technology! This exciting class is designed for kids in grades 1st-6th, offering a fun and engaging environment to explore various forms of digital art. Available during two times: Wed 1:00 & 4:00.
  • PRESCHOOL ART LAB: This class is an exhilarating 45-minute class designed for preschoolers aged 3-6 years old. Embark on a journey of creativity and discovery in a safe and welcoming environment, where little ones can freely explore, make messes, and unleash their artistic flair. Drop-in to one class or book the whole session at a discount.
  • CREATE WITH ME: This class is a vibrant and engaging 45-minute art class tailored for 18 month-3 year olds and their grown-ups. Dive into a world of creative exploration with sensory and play stations, engaging story time, and an exciting invitation for little ones to unleash their artistic talents. Drop-in to one class or book the whole session at a discount.
