Last Call: Help Us Expand the Creative Teen Hangout

As we head into the final days of the year, I wanted to reach out one last time to share an opportunity that means so much to us at Joyful Art Center.

Earlier this month, we introduced our Creative Teen Hangout — a low-pressure, welcoming creative space for teens to unwind, create, and connect outside of school and home. Thanks to early community support, including a generous $250 donation, we’re able to offer our first hangout at a reduced cost and see just how impactful this space can be.

Our hope is to expand the Creative Teen Hangout to additional Sundays each month, making this creative third space accessible to more teens in our community.

Joyful Art Center is now a nonprofit organization, and donations are tax-deductible. As a nonprofit, we’re able to partner with individuals and local businesses in meaningful ways that support youth creativity, community connection, and accessibility.

Each Creative Teen Hangout costs approximately $250 per session, covering art supplies, snacks, staffing, and studio time. A year-end gift at any level directly helps us grow this program and remove barriers for families.​
