Summer fun officially kicks off next week as camps, workshops, and creative adventures return to the studio! We’re excited to welcome kids, teens, and adults for a season filled with art, imagination, and hands-on creativity. Whether you’re joining us for a camp, workshop, or special event, there are plenty of ways to make this a colorful start to summer.

Kids (Ages 2–6)

​Little Maker Workshop | June 19 • 10-11am | Animal Safari

• A creative adventure for ages 2–6 and their grown-ups.
• Enjoy animal-themed story time and sensory play.
• Create a cardboard animal collage.
• Paint, build, and explore together.
• A fun, hands-on experience for little artists.

Kids (Ages 5–11)

​Color Me Crazy Summer Camp | June 8-11 • 10am-3pm

• Explore bold, colorful art projects all week long.
• Create tie-dye, splatter paintings, and color-mixing experiments.
• Discover how colors blend, glow, and transform.
• Perfect for curious kids who love hands-on creativity.
• A fun, energetic camp full of bright artistic exploration.

​Arty Party | June 12 • 1-4pm • Rainbow Remix

• A one-day creative experience filled with art and fun.
• Explore bold colors through hands-on projects.
• Enjoy playful games, snacks, and creative activities.
• Experiment with color, movement, and imagination.
• A vibrant day of artistic exploration.

Kids (Ages 8-12)

​Summer Drawing Series | June 19 • 1-3pm | Ink & Splash

• A fun, beginner-friendly drawing class for creative kids.
• Learn simple drawing techniques with ink and chalk pastels.
• Create colorful sea creatures full of personality.
• Enjoy art games and creative activities along the way.

For Adults & Teens (Ages 13+)

​Painter's Choice | June 11 • 6-8pm

• Pick your favorite design from our collection of painting options.
• Follow easy, step-by-step instruction.
• Personalize your project with your own colors and style.
• Enjoy a relaxed, creative evening in the studio.
• No experience needed—just come ready to paint and have fun.

​Market Tote Workshop | June 13 • 1-3pm

• Design and paint your own canvas tote bag.
• Learn simple techniques with guided instruction.
• Personalize a tote for markets, errands, and everyday use.
• Enjoy a relaxed, creative studio experience.
• Leave with a functional piece of handmade art.

For Everyone

​Open Studio: Creative Cafe

• A relaxed studio time with an art café feel—come in, settle in, and create.
• Choose from a menu of creative projects.
• Basic supplies, tools, and workspace available.
• Joyful Art Center staff are nearby for light guidance if you want it.
• A welcoming space to slow down, explore, and create at your own pace.

We love having a space where kids, teens, and adults can come in and try something creative without pressure. If something here catches your eye, we’d be happy to see you in the studio.
