At every age, we all need space to explore, learn, and create. This month’s workshops offer opportunities for kids, teens, and adults to build skills, try something new, and leave feeling proud of what they’ve made.

Kids (Ages 5–11)

Pizza & Paint Night • TWO NIGHTS IN MARCH

​March 13 – Sham-rockin' Paint Night​
​March 20 – Hip Hoppin' Paint Night

• Guided step-by-step painting
• Pizza included
• Drop-off event
• Festive seasonal themes
• Every child leaves with a completed canvas

For Teens (Ages 11-17)

​4-Week Cosplay Workshop | Mar 7, 14, 21, 28 • 6:30-8:30pm

Register through City of Vacaville Parks & Rec. HERE (Click "teens" then filter by location for Joyful Art Center)

• Design and plan your own custom costume
• Thrift-store field trip to source materials
• Learn sewing and hands-on crafting techniques
• Guided by experienced teaching artists
• Leave with a finished, one-of-a-kind cosplay

For Adults & Teens (Ages 13+)

​Needle Felting Workshop: Floral Wall Hanging | Mar 8 • 1-3pm

• Create a textured floral wool artwork
• Learn beginner-friendly needle felting techniques
• Small group, step-by-step instruction
• Relaxed and supportive environment
• Take home a finished display piece

​Open Studio: Creative Cafe

• Order from our creative menu & create in our NEW cozy café-style space.
