Spring Break is just around the corner—only TWO weeks away! Behind the scenes, we’re busy gathering supplies and getting everything ready for an unforgettable week of creativity and fun.

Join us for “Expedition: Art & Adventure!”—a three-day Spring Break camp designed for curious young creators ages 5–10. Camp runs Tuesday through Thursday, 10AM–2PM. Choose a single day or come along for the full adventure!

Each day brings a new journey:

Unearth the prehistoric world of dinosaurs and fossils
Explore the beauty of blooming backyard gardens
Dive into the deep sea for underwater inspiration

With painting, sculpting, and hands-on mixed media projects, campers will transform their imaginations into art while exploring the world around them. Don’t miss this chance to create, discover, and make new friends—one day at a time!

Mark your calendars for April 12th and 13th as we partner with Visit Vacaville to bring the very first En Plein Air event to Peña Adobe and Lagoon Valley Park!

This two-day outdoor art experience celebrates the natural beauty of Vacaville with landscape painting demonstrations, creative workshops, art displays, and guided hikes through the park trails. It’s all about connecting art and nature in the most inspiring setting.

Joyful Art will be hosting a watercolor workshop for adults each morning, led by Cristie, along with a special kids’ workshop offered each day by Sarah and Sheri.

ART LAB • Mixed Media Art History (Ages 4+)

Theme: Art Through The Ages
75-minute sessions exploring art history through mixed media
Projects include watercolor, acrylic, pastels, collage, and more
Four age group classes: Ages 4-6, 7-8, 9-10, & 11+

3-D ART LAB (K-6th)

A 3D take on Art Through The Ages
Hands-on projects using clay, sculpture, and mixed media collages

DIGITAL ART LAB (1st-6th Grade)

Where creativity meets technology!
Explore digital art tools and techniques in a fun, engaging environment
Two available times: Wednesdays at 1:00 PM & 4:00 PM

PRESCHOOL ART LAB (Ages 3-6)

45-minute creative exploration class
A safe space for little ones to explore, make messes, and create
Drop-in available or book the whole session at a discount

DRAWING LAB

Learn techniques from renowned illustrators like Rebecca Sugar, Yuko Shimizu, and Kadir Nelson
