Our Summer Series are almost here, and we can’t wait to start creating with you. This season’s lineup includes Arty Parties, Little Makers Workshops, and Summer Drawing Classes for kids, teens, and adults. It’s a fun mix of hands-on creativity, artistic exploration, and welcoming studio time all summer long.

Kids (Ages 2–6)

​Little Maker Workshop | Fridays • 10-11am

Join us for playful summer art adventures for ages 2–6 and their grown-ups! Each one-hour class includes interactive stories, sensory play, and hands-on art projects in a fun, welcoming studio.

Kids (Ages 5–11)

​Arty Party | Fridays • 1-4pm

Looking for a bonus day of camp or a one-day creative experience? Jump into hands-on art projects, playful games, snacks and imagination-filled fun inspired by the week’s camp.

Kids (Ages 8-12)

​Summer Drawing Series | Fridays • 1-3pm

A fun, beginner-friendly drawing series for creative kids! Try new materials, learn simple techniques, and enjoy art games and activities along the way. Join one class or the whole series!

• July 10 • Jungle Shadows: Charcoal Drawing
• July 24 • Island Colors: Oil Pastel Drawing
• Aug 7 • Animal Mania: Colored Pencil Drawing

For Adults & Teens (Ages 13+)

​Summer Drawing Series | Thursdays • 6-8pm

A fun, relaxed drawing series for beginners and skill-builders! Try new mediums, learn simple techniques, and grow your confidence—sign up for one or take them all. Plus, take supplies home to keep creating.

For Everyone

​Open Studio: Creative Cafe

• A relaxed studio time with an art café feel—come in, settle in, and create.
• Choose from a menu of creative projects.
• Basic supplies, tools, and workspace available.
• Joyful Art Center staff are nearby for light guidance if you want it.
• A welcoming space to slow down, explore, and create at your own pace.

We love having a space where kids, teens, and adults can come in and try something creative without pressure. If something here catches your eye, we’d be happy to see you in the studio.
