This time of year always brings a fresh wave of creativity into the studio. We’ve added a mix of workshops, meet-ups, and seasonal projects for kids, teens, and adults to enjoy.

If you’re starting to think about Spring Break plans, we have a few options there as well. Here’s what’s coming up at Joyful Art Center.

Kids (Ages 5–11)

​Bunny Bungalows Kid’s Workshop | Mar 28 • 1-3pm

  • Design and decorate a cozy spring home for a bunny friend.
  • Kids will build and embellish their own whimsical “bungalow.”
  • Explore painting, texture, and playful details.
  • A fun seasonal workshop filled with creativity and imagination.

​K-Pop Art Experience | Mar 30 • 1-3pm

  • A high-energy workshop inspired by the style and creativity of K-Pop.
  • Create bold, colorful artwork influenced by music and pop culture.
  • Led by Joyful Art Center teaching artists in a welcoming space.
  • In partnership with the City of Vacaville Parks & Recreation.
  • Register through the City of Vacaville website.

​Spring Break Camp | April 6-9 • 10am-3pm

  • Four days of creative projects with a different theme each day.
  • Explore painting, mixed media, and hands-on art activities.
  • Join all four days at a discount or choose the days that work best.
  • A fun, welcoming studio environment for creative exploration.

For Adults & Teens (Ages 13+)

​Painter's Choice | Mar 24 • 6-8pm

  • Choose from several painting designs available in the studio.
  • Follow guided instruction step-by-step.
  • Customize colors and details to make it your own.
  • A relaxed and creative studio evening.

​Mosaic Magic Easter Egg Workshop | Mar 28 • 10am-12pm

  • Design a decorative mosaic Easter egg using colorful tiles.
  • Learn the basics of mosaic layout and adhesive techniques.
  • Create a bright seasonal piece perfect for spring dĂ©cor.
  • A satisfying hands-on project with lots of texture and color.

For Everyone

​Open Studio: Creative Cafe

  • A relaxed studio time with an art cafĂ© feel—come in, settle in, and create.
  • Choose from a menu of creative projects.
  • Basic supplies, tools, and workspace available.
  • Joyful Art Center staff are nearby for light guidance if you want it.
  • A welcoming space to slow down, explore, and create at your own pace.

Our goal is always to create a space where kids, teens, and adults feel comfortable trying something creative. If something here catches your interest, we’d be happy to see you in the studio.
